Newman is a wonderfully innovative colleague. As a member of the library's advisory board, he provided critical input about improving our physical and digital spaces.
On numerous occasions I've observed Newman patiently teach faculty and students how to adopt and integrate instructional technologies into their professional work flow. On a personal level, I have learned from his ability to communicate complex ideas in simple, straightforward ways.
